We have some exciting news…
Housie afternoons and social evenings are starting again!
- When: 14th March at 2pm
- Where: Ploughman’s Restaurant & Bar, Rainbow Point
Paul at Ploughman’s has kindly offered the RSA some space to use with drink & meal discounts!
As an RSA member you can go to Ploughman’s and on production of your RSA card receive further discounts. We are extremely thankful for the help and look forward to working with Paul and his staff.
This year Poppy Day will be on the 12th of April, we are collecting names of anyone that is willing to spare a few hours to sit and collect. Please contact the office.
We are currently organising and confirming our ANZAC Day celebrations and a newsletter will be sent out in the next few weeks outlining the sequence of events.
At this stage I am still waiting for our new cards to turn up from Wellington, I expect that they be here in the next few days.
The date has been set for our 2019 AGM as the 28th of April 2019. Details and calls for nominations will follow.
Our welfare committee have been busy over the last few months. If you or someone you know of requires any welfare assistance please contact the office, this could be anything from visiting and having a cup of tea with them to making sure they get to doctor’s appointments to helping purchase hearing aids or glasses. If we can find a way to help, we will!
